Your Nation’s Table
Launched Nov. 14, 2022 on JoyTV & Nov 26, 2022 on FaithTV with encore airings until Sept 16, 2023. Airs on OneTV June 5-16, 2023
For the first season of this informative series, program creator and host Carmen Ruiz y Laza, teamed up with renowned chef Robert Clark, who in 2020 was awarded the Order Of Canada for his work on sustainable seafood.
Carmen thought it was especially important to speak to families rooted in the fishing industry about the issues they’re facing, so to that end she and Chef Rob spent months travelling across B.C. to produce and film in communities where commercial fishing is a way of life. Through the series, Carmen wants to inspire viewers to question where their food comes from and to seek out local and sustainable choices whenever possible.
Carmen and Chef Rob are already fielding inquiries for a Season 2.
